M,S,S. is an acronym for Maru (circle), Sankaku (triangle), and Shikaku (square).
It is a clock where the numbers on the face are represented by circles, triangles, and squares. When you combine these geometric shapes, they begin to look like numbers. The shapes that indicate the time are rhythmically arranged to create a new design clock. The clock is available in three colors: pink for a cute atmosphere, gray for a modern look, and black with a hint of blue for a deep color.

Founded in 1947, TAKATA Lemnos Inc. started as a brass casting manufacturing company in Takaoka-city, Toyama Prefecture, Japan and went into full-scale business trade with Seiko Clock Co., Ltd in 1966. Lemnos works with many well-known designers such as Riki WATANABE, Kazuo KAWASAKI, nendo, Shin AZUMI, Tomoko AZUMI, Kanae TSUKAMOTO etc to design and create clocks that are timeless and accentuates the beauty of the raw material used.

 

 

Yohei Oki

Born in Tokyo in 1984. Graduated from the Space Design Department of Asagaya College of Art and Design. After gaining experience at design office nendo and working as an industrial designer (id inc.), he established “side inc.” in 2019. He is involved in design across all categories, including two- and three-dimensional designs. He has won a number of awards, including the Design Plus Award and the Red Dot Design Award (both in Germany).
